SEASON OUTLOOK
The "Little Lizards that Could, But Ultimately Didn't", the Iguanas franchise enters its fourth season in the WFBL with an air of confidence. If you had LeBron James—the reigning EBP and one of the favorites to win the award again—on your team, wouldn't you be confident too?
The Iguanas seem to follow the same pattern year after year: they play well enough all season to be near the top of the standings, even battling for first. But when that stretch run comes along, it's "¡Chao Pues!" to any hope of a Concludings title.
"We need to get better in that regard, of that there can be no argument" said James, who, despite breaking the curse of the SteakTrash last season, has yet to make it to the Concludings. He may finally have the team he needs, as coach Fran Hopkin shrewdly navigated the Draft earlier this month, selecting power forward Carlos Boozer, shooting guard Ray Allen, and point guard Chauncey Billups.
"We are in a position to gain the subject, and that one is something that does each in moved Venezuela," said Hopkin, and your guess is as good as mine on this quote. "Iguanas is behind, baby and lists to gain it everything!"
