KOBE BRYANT LIKE TOTALLY READY FOR SEASON TO BEGIN

STAR GUARD HAS SLEEPOVER PAJAMA PARTY TO CELEBRATE OPENING WEEK

TWIN FALLS (AP)—Millions of fans across the globe aren't the only ones excited for the 2008 WFBL Season to begin.

Twin Falls' Kobe Bryant celebrated last night by inviting his bestest buddies over for a sleepover pajama party. Tony Hawk, Michael Phelps, and Alex Rodriguez all joined Kobe for a night of pizza, candy, movies and games.

"Coach said if I worked really hard all week in practice I could invite 3 people over to my sleepover pajama party," said Bryant, whose Gators take on the Rigby Trojans this week. "It was really hard to narrow it down to just three, but Tony and Michael are my super best friends forever, and they totally had to be here.

"As for A-Rod, who knows more about throwing awesome sleepover pajama parties than him?"

After taking the boys to the store to pick out a frozen Totino's Pizza, and ONE candy each (I said ONE! Kobe!!) from the candy aisle, coach Shaun Adams let them get into their jammies and even stay up a little later playing Guitar Hero.

"He's Kobe, what can I say? He's the cutest thing," said Adams. "I mean, when they get into their matching little jammies, it's just darling. They're good kids, and Kobe has worked hard all off-season. He deserves to have a fun night for himself every once in a while."

The boys stayed up late into the night, around 10 pm, playing Guitar Hero, then built a fort out of the couch cushions and fell asleep watching "Superman III", which coach Adams had recorded off of TV 20 years ago.
